Based on technology buzzwords that were most commonly used in job posting titles and job descriptions on Wantedly, we’re excited to announce the first edition of Tokyo Technology Trends!
To compile Tokyo Technology Trends, we selected technology buzzwords related to latest trends and quantitatively researched how commonly they were used in job posting titles and job descriptions between September 2017 to February 2018. We also ranked the rate of change of these buzzwords being used in the following windows of time: March 2017 to August 2017 and September 2017 to February 2018.
The most commonly used technology buzzword was ‘AI (Artificial Intelligence),’ followed by ‘IoT (Internet of Things).’ The rate of change between 6 months and 1 year ago of these two words equated to 94.45% and 93.30%, respectively.
‘Bitcoin’ had the highest rate of change with 217.27%, followed by ‘Blockchain’ with 177.55%, and ‘Cryptocurrency’ with 175.35%. With these buzzwords ranking in the top 3, we can expect continuous increase in job postings related to cryptocurrency.
