Client: JLT Specialty, US Industry: Professional Indemnity Insurance Locations: SG, IN, US Description USPII - JLT Specialty US was looking for a solution to their law firm customers to buy professional indemnity insurance. The initiative was driven by the brokers (in JLT) to provide a platform for their lawyer clients. Role Description Role Description Responsible for Stakeholder collaboration, understand their needs, plan project approach and lead the implementation team. Identify key stakeholders from various departments. Collaborate and develop common understanding of the initiative. Define project and solution scope. Elicit, understand and model professional indemnity insurance need of the law firms and isolate common features. Track, monitor and report initiative progress. Key Responsibilities • Plan business analysis approach, identify stakeholders (indemnity insurance underwriters, representative law firms, development team, infrastructure and cyber security team), create stakeholder map and RACI Matrix • Elicit and understand the process flow and isolate the repetitive work performed by the underwriters. • Create use cases and swimlane diagram to model requirements pertaining to policy generation and understand various hand off that happen between underwriters and customers/end users (law firms). • Prepare function requirement and receive approval / sign-off. • Prepare and share weekly status of the project progress. • Perform impact analysis and drive scope change as new requirement were discovered. • Design and document reports to be generated by the system ad-hoc and automated. • Create User stories and assign tasks • Collaborate with infrastructure and security team to adhere to JLT’s security guidelines • Present recommendations in Change control process meetings. • Identify Risks (pertaining to user acceptance, Infrastructure readiness and change control board acceptance) and prepare risk mitigation plan. • Review work product developed by Development team periodically to ensure adherence with organizational standards. • Prepare users for acceptance test. Walk them through the system/process.
