Graduating from the University of Toronto in 2025 with a degree in economics and political sciences. I went on to work in the marketing team of a small tech start-up called "Slayers" before looking for a large-scale advertising/entrepreneurship firm. Zenyu Judo Dojo is a full-fledged affiliate member of USA Judo. Open since 2002, zenyu is a training facility in Washington that help kids and adults learn and train Judo. They also provide competition and recreational opportunities.
As a member of the by-laws committee, I reviewed and proposed changes to the school's by-laws, constitutions, school budgets, and election packet. I also contributed to becoming the student representative by expressing the students' concerns, complaints, and aspirations to the school through the College Administration and Board of Trustees.
As the president, my role was to lead and oversee the club by holding weekly meetings, encouraging active participation, and creating a safe space to communicate. Other than fostering a supportive environment, I actively promoted and engaged our club with other clubs to promote our club's culture as well as maintain an inclusive environment.
At Green River College, I achieved academic excellence with a cumulative 4.0 GPA, constant attendance, and effort in studying. As a part of the Student Government, I handled student concerns and presented them to the board of trustees. One prominent concern raised to me revolves around the limited availability of gender-neutral restrooms
I was responsible for providing constructive feedback on grammar, sentence structure, citation formats and other aspects of writings in their assignments, homework, and projects. I also assist with students' concerns, such as understanding prompts or brainstorming ideas in their reading and writing.
The Global Leaders Program (GLP) is focused on giving students practice in leadership, problem-solving, and intercultural communication through real-world issues such as student safety concerns. Through this program, I was able to generate innovative ideas, collaborate with faculty, and successfully implement these innovations across the campus.
