Nananoya
My love for makeup has lead me to this project. Knowing that I have the advantage of my sister living in LA, we thought it was a great idea to create a website that sells American makeup and skincare products. I had no experience in sales or website creating, but I made the website, did all the product research, somewhat of market research, and somehow successfully launched the website Nananoya. With no knowledge of the budget, profits margins, and obviously SEO, we still had some business. I was technically in charge of everything, from client response, website maintenance, website creation, social media manager, and so on. However, the profit margin was too low to make the business work, even though we did have a repetition. We didn't have enough money to continue funding the project, the domain, and so on. Unfortunately, it was a failure, but I have to say, I learned so much then, and with my current job, I am learning even more. Now, I can see what went wrong, we were over our heads, but in the moment, I felt amazing as people were finding my website and buying products I personally selected. Maybe one day I can do it again, but this time I will be prepared.
