Graduating with a degree in Japanese in Hawaii, I went on to work in the hospitality sector before finding myself in Japan as an English teacher. Infatuated with programming, I seek to expand and grow these skills and embark on a new adventure in Japan.
I want to create websites that are accessible to all and help those who may have difficulties browsing the web.
I lead a team of twelve new and experienced teachers. I advised and observed lessons, one on one meetings to discuss areas of improvement, and helped with any problems my team may have experienced at school. I also prepared and delivered English lessons for up to 300+ junior high school students each week.
Prepared and taught lessons for over 500+ students at 3-5 different schools each week; ages ranged from 6 to 15 years old. Launched English Club at schools and fostered students’ interest in English.

Developed the app, "Dean's English Game" using React. This contributed to a 20% increase in student test performance.
