As You Matter is a global mental health initiative advocating for youth’s mental health. Through collaborating with the larger liason team, we brainstorm, produce and edit a variety of weekly educational and wellbeing content across different social media platforms e.g. Instagram, Linkedin etc. to help spread mental health awareness.

Work consisted of drafting, translating social media posts and press releases regarding both international and domestic campaigns advocating for children’s survival, right to education and protection under tight deadlines. Working closely with Dr Alexandra Perovic under a research project on learning disabilities. Work involves conducting in-depth literature reviews, devising operationalisation solutions and sorting large Excel data files for data analysis, which developed my critical thinking skills

Weekly placement opportunities with nursery children. Work consists of collaborating with teachers and parents to organise classroom learning opportunities in order to stimulate child development, which built up my ability to work under rapidly changing environments and problem-solving skills.
