なにをやっているのか
Since 2012, we have taught over 5,000 students how to learn through classes in programming, electronics, digital art and design thinking. Our mission is to use digital literacy classes to transform kids into self-motivated learners who are curious, inventive & resourceful.
We’ve worked with large corporate partners like Google, EPAM, and LEGO to bring our programmes into schools and the community alongside running holiday camps and weekly classes at our Saturday Kids locations throughout Singapore. And in 2019, we set up our first international office in Tokyo, Japan!
Saturday Kids is also the Programme Manager for Code in the Community, a 3-year Google and IMDA co-sponsored initiative to bring free coding classes to kids from disadvantaged backgrounds.
なぜやるのか
What if kids are intrinsically motivated to learn?
At Saturday Kids, students don't just learn to code. They code to learn. We cannot teach kids everything there is to know. But what we can do is bring out the curiosity in kids, encourage them to look at problems and think "I can figure this out myself". Saturday Kids learn how to learn.

どうやっているのか
We love teaching kids and letting them engage meaningfully with technology. We've seen the many amazing things kids can come up with and want them to have a chance to use technology as a tool to express their creativity, think critically, solve problems and along the way discover what they're passionate about.
We are a team of teachers, anthropologist, geeks, programmers, product designers, mummies, daddies and changemakers at heart, supported by a Saturday Kids family of technologists and futurists from across Asia and Silicon Valley.
We've seen how creativity, technology, and design are being used by people around the world to solve humanity's problems and impact people's lives, and we think - why not start our kids young?
If you're passionate about technology education and are great with kids, we'd love to talk to you!
