Our staff volunteering
A garden in progress
We are a work environment where employees can learn and grow! Our employees can chart real progress and realize their potential here, and over 95% of our employees attend some type of training every year. Learning is a joint responsibility here, we are committed to providing a conducive learning environment, and our employees are encouraged to be proactive in charting and directing their own learning and development. Bringing in talented people is important to us, but its just as important that we provide them with opportunities for growth and advancement. We even manage our own internal learning institute, the CapitaLand Institute of Management and Business (CLIMB), to equip our employees for management and leadership positions! A connection to the community is a fundamental part of any development work, and we hope to foster this through our volunteer programs. Our CapitaLand Hope Foundation, was established in 2005 to further CapitaLand’s community development commitment of ‘Building For Tomorrow’. CapitaLand is also one of the first companies in Singapore to formalise a three-day Volunteer Service Leave system and expand its leave policy to include Volunteer No Pay Leave and Volunteer Part-Time Leave.
