We are a staffing and recruitment firm based on relationships. Of course we want to help every SAP and cloud professional find their next job or project through K2 and make money. That is the success we can measure, but our true success comes for being SAP and Cloud market experts. We get to know everyone in the SAP and cloud/SFDC space and understand what the trends are. We advise our clients, partners, associates, and candidates on trends, major projects, and activities happening. Whether they are working through K2 or not, we work closely with the SAP and cloud communities in Japan, Asia and around the world.
We share the information we gather locally with our global network via Chatter, Twitter, Facebook, and more. And we don't just follow the market, we make the market by engaging with new ventures and technologies and creating market movement where new talent is necessary.

なぜやるのか

I have lived in Japan for almost 8 years now. 日本語も話します。I joined K2 before we opened the Tokyo office in 2009. I had recruited before, but I was working with so many types of candidates and companies that I felt I had no chance to show real value. I joined K2 because of the specific focus on core markets. We have now opened three more offices in Asia and we are expanding our markets to include leading technologies.
K2 always offers me a chance to try something different and learn something new while still becoming an expert in that field and adding more value to the clients I work with, both companies and candidates.
Specialties: SAP Freelance market, SAP subject matter experts, SAP & software solution sales professionals. Growing into the Cloud space and specifically Salesforce.com.
どうやっているのか
We believe people should work hard, work smart, and enjoy life. We typically start our day at 9am and carry-on and the office and out meeting people until 6 or 7pm. As we are in the people business, associates are often going out for dinner or drinks with clients and candidates after 6pm. If there are not afterwork meetings, associates will often end the night with some drinks and food at a local bar before heading to their homes and families.
The office is open and friendly and located in the center of Tokyo (Akasaka). We have a catering service bring box lunches and people often eat at their desk and take lunch breaks on the foos ball table or relaxing on the reception couch. Others go out and enjoy one of 100s of restaurants in the area.
After work, if there are no meetings, team members often do activities together (mostly involving food and alcohol!). Beside awards trips such as skiing/snowboarding, the team will often plan their own weekend activities. We are a small, close office and we value people who work hard and play hard, too!
