Join us on Saturday May 13th at the Tokyo TOKIA Building as we once again compete to walk around the Yamanote train line, raising money for Plan International and Sri Lanka. https://www.plan-international.jp/english/ -- What is The Yamathon? -- The Yamathon is a unique urban team challenge where teams of three or four people attempt to walk around the Yamanote line in under 12 hours. Every year since 2010, a skeleton crew of volunteers come together to plan this 12 hour marathon for charity. Since the first marathon participation has grown, topping a thousand. While the marathon and half marathon continue to grow, the hunger for challenge and desire to give to charity does too. Yamathon 2016 supported Plan Japan and ultimately for the children affected by Typhoon Haiyan. See for yourself why it's more than 'just a race' !
