Introducing Twitch and Battle.net Integration
Can’t get enough Heroes of the Storm? You’re in luck. We’re happy to announce that Twitch and Blizzard are teaming up to reward those who not only love to play Heroes of the Storm, but love to watch it as well.
For a limited time, anyone who watches a Heroes of the Storm regional championship while logged overwatch into Twitch with a linked Battle.net account (more on that below) will receive a special “Storm Watcher” portrait in Heroes of the Storm. It’s super cool and will make all your friends jealous.
Your first chance to get your hands on this exclusive portrait is coming up this weekend! Tune into the Americas Championship on September 19th and 20th to be one of the first to receive it. After watching this or another regional championship event, the portrait will be awarded to qualifying players starting in October. You won’t have to do anything, it will simply appear in your in-game fix portrait collection.
So, you may be asking, “How do I link my Twitch and Battle.net accounts?” And we’re glad you asked.
- Log in to your Twitch account.
- Navigate to the Settings menu by clicking your account name in the top-right corner of the home screen.
- Click the Connections tab.
- Follow the instructions after selecting your region and clicking Connect next to Blizzard Battle.net.
To ensure you’re able to get the portrait award, please make sure you leave the accounts linked at least until the portrait has appeared in your Battle.net account.
