About the Role We are seeking a proactive HR Business Partner (HRBP) in Japan to shape the future of HR within a growing organization. This role involves driving HR initiatives such as ensuring compliance with Japan Labour Law, enhancing performance management, and supporting recruitment efforts. Working closely with local leaders and the global HR team, you will serve as a trusted advisor for all HR matters. This position offers a dynamic environment to grow and refine your HR expertise. Job Responsibilities • Labour Law Compliance: Ensure adherence to Japan Labour Law, guiding on legal and HR best practices. • Performance Management: Manage goal-setting, reviews, feedback, and employee development to foster high performance. • Recruitment Support: Collaborate on hiring strategies and manage talent pipelines; prior recruitment experience is a plus. • Employee Relations: Provide advisory support, conflict resolution, and promote a positive workplace. • HR Strategy Implementation: Align HR strategies with company objectives, focusing on talent and organizational development. • Learning & Development: Support training programs to enhance employee skills and growth. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment between Japan office and global HR team objectives. Qualifications • Proven HRBP experience, preferably in multinational environments • Strong knowledge of Japan Labour Law and HR best practices • Experience in performance management and recruitment • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Working Days & Hours Monday to Friday (9am–6pm or 10am–7pm) Location 5 mins walk from Dokkyodaigakumae Station (Soka-Matsubara), accessible via direct train from the Hibiya or Tobu Skytree Lines.
