なにをやっているのか

Our English Conversation app 「AI English Conversation Speak Buddy」uses AI characters to help users learn English Conversation skills in a fun way. Since 2013, we've been developing our own apps and services, centered around English education, and released the 「Speak Buddy」app in 2016. This app uses speech recognition, AI conversation, and digital voice technology, that allows users to study English in a new way by speaking to a host of AI characters. In May, 2019, we achieved the number 1 rank in the app store's Education category. On top of that, in October of 2024, we surpassed 4 million downloads, and our download numbers are continuing to increase day by day. Aside from 「Speak Buddy」, we also have an online service called 「Coach Buddy」specializing in English Coaching that supports each users' daily English studies with the help of a coach, and an online Q&A website that launched in May of 2022 called 「SpeakBUDDY English Study Q&A」where users can ask our professional English coaches about their concerns related to studying English, and are continuing to put effort into the development of new services.

なぜやるのか

「Open a world of opportunities by achieving true language acquisition」. That is our mission. We believe that if people are able to speak directly to others around the world, that they will have a much wider scope of opportunities available to them. Our main product is our 「AI English Conversation Speak Buddy」app, that uses the latest in voice recognition, AI conversation, and digital voice technology to solve the problem, "I cannot speak English well, so it's too embarrassing for me to speak English in front of others" the many Japanese people who want to learn English face. Through our products, we would like to create a world where as many people as possible can experience the joy of overcoming an obstacle they were told was impossible to defeat, where they can be constantly surprised by new discoveries and information, and where they can have moving and meaningful conversations with friends in other countries.
