The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) aims to be a leading tax agency known for our efficient services, expertise and integrity. We are looking for committed team players to co-develop the next generation of ICT systems that improve how millions of taxpayers connect and interact with us.
Join us on this exciting journey to shape our digital architecture and drive the next generation innovations as a Change Agent! From leveraging various technologies in an agile environment to being a part of a tight-knit high-performance team, you will develop a wide spectrum of core technology skills to drive innovation, modernise applications and improve delivery effectiveness.
LEA:D
IRAS embarked on an organisation-wide LEA:D transformation movement to LEverage Analytics, Design and Digitalisation to redefine experiences of taxpayers and staff.
To achieve our transformation objectives and ensure our workforce is ready for the future, we launched ‘Career Fitness’ to imbue in all staff a sense of ownership over their career development and lifelong learning, encouraging them to actively develop competencies and boost productivity, and be agile in doing new/redesigned work.
IRAS is currently on the cusp of a major transition to modernise our application systems to ensure that they are scalable, efficient, secure and deliver business capabilities. We will be leveraging technology like containers, microservices, DevOps and cloud computing to improve agility and to support business transformation.
Work Hard, Play Hard
At IRAS, we encourage our officers to challenge themselves professionally and reap what they’ve sowed. From having a buddy system to sporting a dress down culture, we believe in empowering our officers to chart their learning.
Besides structured and on-the-job training, you can even volunteer for projects or committees where you can hone various skills such as leadership and project management.
Our Inland Revenue Recreation Club regularly organises recreational, social and sporting activities to cater to your well-being as well as expand your social network and collaborate with other IRAS officers.
We are committed to developing the potential of talented individuals. We also encourage our staff to build strong friendships at work and take personal responsibility for their own learning and development. So, if you are a self-motivated, adaptable and resilient individual with good interpersonal communication skills, WE WANT YOU!
Everyone Matters!
Here at IRAS, every member matters and plays a significant role in achieving IRAS’ vision: To partner the community in nation-building and inclusive growth.
While the work here can be fast-paced and challenging, it is also rewarding and satisfying for those who thrive on challenges. Many IRAS officers build strong friendships at work; they are also able to make time for their families.
As our Director of Infocomm Technology and Planning says, “It’s a good time to join us now. We’re transforming and looking at new technologies, training capabilities and working on meaningful projects that make an impact.”
