Interviewee: Naveen MV (CEO)
(Sasaki)
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule today.
First of all, please give us a brief history of our company.
(Naveen MV)
First QA Systems is a Japan-based IT consultancy founded in Yokohama in 2011. We have been providing solutions that maximize value in the global marketplace through IT to a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods, healthcare, retail, and finance. We are not a subcontractor, but rather a "direct contractor" with our clients, aiming to solve business issues from the very core.
(Sasaki)
Direct contracts allow us to hear directly from our clients, which in turn allows us to provide high-quality solutions.
Are there any other areas in which our company excels?
(Naveen MV)
Among our various fields, we are best at supporting DX strategies. We have implemented DX from a broad perspective, involving not only the client's internal organization but also its business partners and suppliers. Cyber security-related business is also one of our specialties, and we are involved in it from high-level consulting such as the formulation of security policies.
(Sasaki)
Our DX strategy support that fully utilizes our technological capabilities has been highly evaluated by our clients. And we are working hard to provide even higher quality solutions to our clients in the cybersecurity-related business, which has been becoming increasingly diversified and complex in recent years. We are also working hard to provide even higher quality solutions to our clients.
What are your thoughts on consulting and governance-related business?
(Naveen MV)
In the area of consulting and governance, we provide bilingual (Japanese and English) personnel, including project management (PM), as a solution to manage our clients' global projects. We have received high evaluations from our clients.
We also provide our clients with packages that realize smart supply chains for the manufacturing industry by utilizing blockchain technology and offer comprehensive solutions from upstream to downstream processes.
(Sasaki)
Thank you for your explanation.
Are there any other elements of our company culture or unique elements compared to other companies?
(Naveen MV)
We, the management team (*), have our roots in India, but having worked for Japanese companies for a long time, we have managed our business by combining the speed that is characteristic of foreign companies with the characteristics of Japanese companies that face each employee and train them individually. Under the three-year plan "Mirai 2026," we plan to increase the number of employees from 120 to 300 in Japan and to evolve into a company with a total of 500 employees including partner companies.
( Vice President - Abhijit Waideya in office)
(Sasaki)
You are planning to recruit more and more actively toward the realization of Mirai 2026, isn't that right? What kind of person are you looking for?
(Naveen MV)
Since the company has made its mark in the PM domain, which is upstream of system development, it has traditionally focused on hiring mid-career professionals, but in order to nurture the next generation of talent, the company plans to focus on hiring new graduates as well. For new graduates, we do not ask whether or not they have technical experience. We believe that all of you are diamonds in the rough, and it is our mission as managers to polish them. We want to welcome people who have logical thinking, an open mindset, and a passion for technology. We would like to welcome people who possess these three qualities.
(Sasaki)
Thank you for your explanation.
(*) CEO - Naveen Modekurthi / Vice President - Abhijit Waideya
Both of them are from India and have served as the Asian regional head of a global IT company.
Thank you for reading through to the end.

We look forward to hearing from you.
